Electric Ensemble

General Electric is an eclectic ensemble comprised of electric violins, violas, cellos, and basses combined with rhythm section and Electric Wind Instruments (EWI’s). This group was formed to give members of the Eisenhower orchestra program an opportunity to play in a jazz ensemble and to experiment with new sound, modern rock and pop music. General Electric performs concerts throughout the year at Eisenhower, as well as at the Albuquerque Jazz Festival, where they have consistently received superior ratings.
